This is to inform that the Mission at Copenhagen organized a Gita Mahotsav on 10 November 2025 as part of the Government of India’s global initiative to celebrate the International Gita Mahotsav (IGM) across the world.

The celebration also included a graceful Kathak performance by Deep’s Dancing Divas, a local dance group led by Ms. Deepshikha Daga, along with a soulful kirtan presented by ISKCON devotees.

The Embassy also distributed copies of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in both Danish and English to the participants.

The attendees, including long-term residents of Denmark, expressed their appreciation for the Mission’s initiative to organize the event. Additionally, two Indian students from Denmark Technical University (DTU) informed me that they are developing an AI-based application on the teachings of the Gita and plan to visit the Mission in the future to give a demonstration of their project.
